A centralized transit signal priority and pre-emption system is sought for implementation in Saskatchewan. The selected vendor will be responsible for delivering a solution that enables the monitoring and management of traffic signal operations through specialized signal control software. This system must support configuration and management of all vehicles and intersection priority/pre-emption requests, ensuring efficient traffic flow for transit services.

The solution will also include real-time monitoring and notification features, designed to immediately alert stakeholders to any disruptions or anomalies in data flows. Active engagement and outreach with key stakeholder groups—including Transit, Traffic, Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Construction, and Transformation and Technology teams—will be required throughout the process. The vendor will provide updates and additional information regarding existing systems, system inventory, and ongoing BRT construction projects. The contract term will be one year.
