(1) Vendor needs to provide tourism and marketing services. – Marketing services to promote county and the highlands as a travel destination. – These services should include: – Marketing Services – Marketing Initiatives, including management of tourism–related events and a visitor center – Administrative Services. – Market planning. – Production of collateral material. – Promotion of travel trades, to include sales missions, sales calls, destination seminars, and attendance at trade shows. – Direct mail programs. – Inbound trade familiarization tours. – Meeting and event services. – Visitor services. – Industry and resident educational seminars and programs. (2) The contract period will be for three years.
