The organization is seeking a vendor to deliver comprehensive tobacco prevention and control services aimed at promoting healthy behaviors and social norms to reduce tobacco use and limit exposure to second-hand smoke. The objectives of the Tobacco Prevention Control program include implementing proven strategies to prevent youth tobacco use, improving access to tobacco cessation and substance use treatment, and educating local communities about the health risks associated with tobacco and nicotine products and second-hand smoke exposure.
The scope of work includes supporting youth prevention initiatives, developing and enforcing second-hand smoke reduction strategies, and expanding access to treatment and health promotion programs. Vendors will also be expected to engage community coalitions, promote evidence-based public health policies, and streamline health system screening and referral processes relating to tobacco use. All vendor questions regarding the RFP are due by June 1, 2026.
