The City of Texas is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive third-party claims administration services for its self-funded Workers' Compensation, Property, Liability Program, and Nurse Case Management Services. The vendor will be responsible for delivering professional claims administration, maintaining effective communication between the claims administrator, claimants, and the City, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the claims process.

The chosen provider must review large or unusual claims to ensure accuracy in billing and offer timely, actionable reporting with proactive management of employee care through health advocacy. Nurse case managers must have the ability to meet employees onsite at local facilities to facilitate access to appropriate care and to assist families during complex illness or injury, helping navigate the workers compensation system. The vendor is expected to report on employee and provider engagement, demonstrate efficiencies in case management, provide onsite and ongoing telephonic case management for specific cases, and utilize claims administration software, including responsibility for data conversion and migration as well as maintaining data integrity through pre-migration analysis and alerting.
