Third-Party Administrator Claims Services

A city in New Jersey is seeking a qualified vendor to provide third-party administrator claims services across multiple lines of coverage. The requested services include workers' compensation, general liability, auto liability, auto physical damage, property, police professional liability, public officials liability, employment practices liability, first-party property claims administration, and medical bill repricing.

The selected provider will be responsible for receiving, managing, and competently handling all reported claims, including first-party property claims. The provider is expected to communicate with the city regarding claims reporting procedures and requirements, maintain a file for each reported claim, and preserve records in accordance with the agreement, applicable state statutes, regulations, and city requirements.

Additional responsibilities include coordinating care, scheduling, and reporting with the city's workers' compensation primary care and physical therapy providers. The provider will also track legal expenses within claim files based on payment information supplied by the city, and coordinate wellness checks as needed for widows and permanent disability recipients.
