Boulder County Public Health is seeking a Temporary Grants Accountant to provide general accounting and administrative support to the Grants Team. The position will assist with routine grant-related financial activities, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and recordkeeping, under the direction of the Grants Manager. Key responsibilities include preparing monthly budget-to-actual reports, performing account reconciliations, tracking grant expenditures, and maintaining financial spreadsheets.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- At least one year of accounting, bookkeeping, or related financial experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and working with financial data
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reconciliations
- Must maintain Commercial General Liability insurance with minimum limits of 1,000,000 per occurrence and 2,000,000 aggregate
- Must maintain Workers' Compensation and Employer's Liability insurance with statutory limits
- Must maintain Privacy/Cyber Liability insurance based on the number of county clients served
