The Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (District) is soliciting proposals for structural and geotechnical engineering services for contract S06049D01 at the South Shore Water Reclamation Facility (SSWRF). The scope includes structural analysis and design for the replacement of the Building 303 metering vault platform, investigation and evaluation of concrete reducer cracking in the Building 303 metering vault, and a preliminary engineering study for differential settlement issues in Building 380. The contract includes project management, preliminary engineering, field investigation, design services, bid and award services, and engineering services during construction. The contract term is approximately 104 weeks.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be authorized to do business in the State of Wisconsin
  • Must complete online MMSD Safety Training Course at least three working days prior to visiting a District facility or construction site
  • Must be registered in the CVMS system upon notification of award
  • Must provide proof of insurance coverage upon contract execution
  • Must achieve a minimum of 20% SBE participation
  • Must perform work under the direction of a Professional Engineer registered in the State of Wisconsin
