DESCRIPTION

The agency seeks a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive strategic planning consulting services. The selected consultant will design and facilitate a complete strategic planning process that begins with a discovery and foundational assessment, including the review of a detailed agency data packet. This packet will cover enrollment, demographics, financial trends, academic performance, student outcomes, staffing trends, facility needs, fundraising information, and other operational data. The consultant will identify strengths, risks, patterns, and strategic implications through this analysis, and will also engage stakeholders—such as staff, families, students, school leaders, Board members, community partners, and funders—through interviews, focus groups, surveys, town halls, or other activities.

The consultant will guide the visioning and goal-setting phase, supporting the identification of 3 to 5 high-level, long-term strategic goals that are actionable, measurable, mission-aligned, financially informed, and responsive to the agency’s community experience. Guidance will include assistance with planning a strategic capital plan, specifically the development of a permanent high school space and facility upgrades.

In the plan development and implementation framework stage, the consultant will synthesize data, stakeholder feedback, and leadership direction into a comprehensive draft strategic plan. An accountability framework—detailing key initiatives, timelines, responsible roles, success metrics, and recommended review routines—will also be developed. The engagement concludes with delivery of a final strategic plan accepted by the agency by January 31, 2027.
