DESCRIPTION

The North Carolina Department of Transportation requires mowing services for vegetation along State Highway System routes within Carteret and Craven Counties. KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must be pre-qualified as a Bidder or Purchase Order Contract Prime Contractor
Must have at least one NCDOT Certified Work Zone Supervisor
Must provide a minimum of four 60"–90" mowers and four 10'–15' flex wing mowers
Must maintain legally required insurance coverage including worker's compensation and vehicle liability
Must have at least one English speaking employee on-site during mowing operations
Must have a cellular telephone for the mowing supervisor
Must display company name, identification number, and telephone number on each tractor and service vehicle
