Vendor needs to provide sponsorship strategy services. Evaluate current brand assets, communications channels, facility inventory, and event calendar. Benchmark peer municipalities and comparable regional agencies to evaluate best practices, identify revenue–generating models, and assess opportunities. Create a comprehensive catalog of sponsor–ready assets citywide. Provide valuation methods based on industry benchmarks and local market conditions. Identify new or untapped revenue opportunities (naming rights, category exclusivity, digital media, activations, etc.). Create templates for agreements, proposals, and reporting. Recommend staffing models (internal team, outsourced partner, hybrid approach). Provide specific recommendations for leveraging the sports facilities companies network and staff into the citywide sponsorship initiative. Present benchmarking findings and asset inventory insights to city council at the project’s midpoint to ensure transparency and alignment with community priorities.
