The Alaska VA Healthcare System is seeking to identify qualified sources capable of supporting the expansion of its weight-based inventory management system. Specifically, this effort involves the provision of supply cabinets and software comparable to the PAR Excellence Weight-Based Inventory Management System (WBIMS), as well as installation and training services. The current system has demonstrated effectiveness in improving inventory control by providing around-the-clock, accurate tracking and management of inventory stock without manual input.

Interested vendors must be able to deliver OEM brand name or equivalent products that are fully compatible with the existing PAR Excellence WBIMS infrastructure. The scope of work will include ensuring the new components are fully integrated and operational within the current system, maintaining seamless system communications, and providing necessary training to support ongoing inventory management operations. The Alaska VA Healthcare System aims to continue its commitment to efficient inventory controls and seeks partners to facilitate this system expansion.
