DESCRIPTION

The selected vendor will provide a solution to automate the extraction, validation, and ingestion of document data. The system must integrate with existing enterprise legacy systems such as Slate and Ellucian Banner through standards-based APIs (REST, JSON, XML, or equivalent) enabling bi-directional data exchange. Support for both batch processing and real-time, on-demand parsing via API is required, and compatibility with both on-premises and cloud deployments is necessary.

Key features include secure data export options to formats such as CSV, Excel, and database outputs, support for Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication, and comprehensive implementation support, training, and technical documentation. The solution should provide built-in dashboards or analytics for visualizing data extraction metrics, accuracy rates, and error reporting. Parsing capabilities must extend across various document and image formats, including PDF (text-based and scanned), scanned documents, Word, Excel, plain text, images (JPEG/PNG/TIFF), pictures, and handwritten documents, with support for multi-page documents.

The system must offer customizable rules for data extraction that authorized users can modify without vendor involvement, and preferably extract relevant data without requiring template creation. A validation and correction interface should allow users to review and approve extracted data prior to export. The contract term will be for one year, with all vendor questions to be submitted by July 9, 2026.
