This RFP seeks a vendor to provide sign supports and posts services, specifically for square tube steel posts in various sizes (1½” x 1½”, 1¾” x 1¾”, 2” x 2”, and 2¼” x 2¼”). The posts must be capable of telescoping for mounting highway traffic signs and warning devices. Steel posts are required to comply with American Society Testing Material standards for hot-rolled carbon sheet steel, structural quality.

Each steel post must have a square tube cross-section made from 12-gauge steel, carefully rolled to size, with corners welded and zinc-coated after the scarfing operation. Furnished posts must be straight, with a smooth and uniform finish. Posts must also feature 7/16” diameter holes drilled on 1” centers along all four sides for the entire length.

Questions regarding the RFP must be submitted no later than March 3, 2026. The contract period will span one year.
