The City of Fife Parks, Recreation, and Aquatics Department is seeking a qualified consultant to prepare plans, specifications, and a cost estimate for Phase 2 of the Sheffield Trail improvement project. This phase will address approximately 2,600 feet of the remaining trail, beginning at the 20th Street entrance and extending toward the completed Phase 1 improvements. The project involves evaluating and designing improvements to widen the trail, address root-related damage, and improve accessibility, safety, and long-term maintenance. Design considerations include drainage, retaining walls, pedestrian lighting, and landscape improvements. The project includes a 12-month design period.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have experience with federally-funded projects of similar complexity and function
  • Must have demonstrated ability to perform high-quality work and meet schedules

  • Must maintain Professional Liability insurance with limits no less than $1,000,000 per claim and $1,000,000 policy aggregate limit
  • Must maintain Workers’ Compensation coverage as required by the State of Washington
