DESCRIPTION


The Agency is seeking a contractor to modernize information governance, rationalize existing content, implement Microsoft Purview, complete a limited SharePoint Online pilot migration, and develop a future-state roadmap aligned with its ERP transformation. The Agency maintains Microsoft 365 E5 licensing and intends to leverage existing Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Purview capabilities before considering additional licensing, subscriptions, or third-party solutions.

The contractor will conduct discovery and assessment activities across the Agency’s information environment, including network file shares, Laserfiche repositories, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams. The engagement will address content classification and rationalization, readiness for access-to-information requests, investigations, legal holds, eDiscovery, audits, and evidence preservation.

The contractor will design, configure, and implement an information governance framework using Microsoft Purview and existing Microsoft 365 E5 capabilities. Activities will include information classification and protection framework design, sensitivity label and appropriate auto-labeling configuration, Data Loss Prevention policy implementation, retention and records management configuration, mapping retention schedules to Microsoft Purview controls, and disposition process design. The contract period will be one year.
