DESCRIPTION

The Passaic Board of Education requires a consultant to provide on-site professional development, coaching, and consultation to build staff capacity in proactive classroom management, student de-escalation, and positive behavioral supports. The successful vendor will provide a minimum of two on-site visits per month, with each visit consisting of at least four hours of direct professional services. The contract term is from December 1st, 2026, through September 30th, 2027.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must be listed on the Department of Education’s Approved List of Clinics and Agencies prior to contract issuance
Must provide proof of successful experience in New Jersey with projects of similar size
Must provide three letters of recommendation from public school districts with similar demographic profiles and student enrollment
Must have an advanced degree in education, psychology, counseling, behavioral science, or a related field
Must demonstrate expertise in evidence-based classroom management, positive behavioral interventions, behavioral de-escalation, and emotional regulation
Must provide documentation of relevant professional experience, credentials, and references
Must comply with all applicable district policies, confidentiality requirements, and school safety procedures
Must maintain required insurance coverage, including Commercial General Liability, Excess Umbrella Liability, Sexual Harassment, and Professional Liability insurance
