The government authority in Pierre, South Dakota, is seeking a vendor to provide rural modernization infrastructure and sustainability grant services through a statewide initiative focused on enhancing rural healthcare systems and improving access to quality care. The selected vendor will be responsible for provider capacity building, which includes activities that enable healthcare providers to meet service standards such as same-day access, case management, peer support, and integrated screening measures.
Additionally, the initiative will expand crisis services by establishing or strengthening mobile crisis teams and crisis stabilization services to ensure access to 24/7/365 crisis care throughout the CCBHC service area. The scope also includes IT infrastructure development with required upgrades for real-time monitoring, streamlined payment processes, and system interoperability between provider electronic health records (EHR) and state reporting systems. Workforce development efforts will address recruitment and retention, as well as establish training programs for licensed professionals and paraprofessionals. The contract will span one year.
