DESCRIPTION
The agency is seeking a vendor to replace its RFID self-checkout system software and, depending on the proposed solution, provide new self-checkout kiosks for use at 15 library locations. Proposers may submit an option for software-only replacement priced per installation for up to 45 existing self-check stations, an option for complete new kiosks with required software priced per kiosk for up to 45 stations, or both options.
The solution must fully integrate with the SirsiDynix Symphony integrated library system and support patron functions including manual library card number and PIN entry through an onscreen keyboard, item checkout, check-in, renewals, and receipt selection, including no receipt, email receipt, or printed receipt. Vendors must provide a work plan and implementation schedule covering project coordination, system setup and configuration, integration, testing, and staff training.
The selected vendor will also be responsible for warranty, maintenance, and ongoing support. Questions must be submitted by September 10, 2026.
