RFI for Web-Based Mandatory Reporting and Mortality Data Management System

Colorado is seeking information from vendors regarding a web-based mandatory wildlife mortality reporting and data management system. The desired solution should be hosted, managed, and offer a unified, modern database management experience to facilitate the recording and tracking of wildlife mortality inspections, including instances such as hunter reports, road kills, and federally mandated removals.

The system should provide an intuitive and user-friendly interface to streamline data entry for both field and administrative staff. Importantly, it must support both online and offline data collection, enabling efficient use in remote areas with limited connectivity. A mobile data entry application is required to empower field staff to collect and submit data even when internet access is unavailable. In addition to facilitating seamless data entry and reporting, the system should offer robust analytical and ad hoc reporting tools, enhanced query performance, and the flexibility to address species-specific and mortality-type requirements.

Furthermore, the solution must be capable of integrating with other terrestrial databases via API, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated mortality reporting for the state. Vendors are requested to ensure these functional needs are addressed in their responses.
