(1) Vendor needs to provide student ridership tracking solution• Gather comprehensive information on the current market offerings for student transportation technology.• Evaluate the technical capabilities, cost–effectiveness, and reliability of RFID–based systems.• Understand how AI–powered analytics can provide actionable insights for safety risk management and route optimization.• Inform the requirements for a potential future Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Bid (RFB).Technical Capabilities• Hardware: Describe the on–board hardware required (readers, antennas, driver tablets, GPS devices).• Tag Type: Do you use passive or active RFID tags? Describe the required format for student IDs (cards, key fobs, etc.).• Scan Process: Detail the student boarding/disembarking process. Does it require a physical tap, or is it automated within a certain range?• Alert Mechanism: Explain how the system handles exceptions, such as a student boarding the wrong bus or getting off at an unauthorized stop.• Analytics Platform: Describe your data analytics platform and the types of data collected (scan times/locations, route data, driver behavior).• AI–Powered Insights: How does your system leverage AI or advanced analytics?– Predictive Analysis: Can the system anticipate safety risks or potential delays based on historical data?– Route Optimization: How does AI assist in continuously optimizing bus routes and resource allocation based on actual ridership data?– Data Visualization: Describe the dashboards and reporting tools available for administrators to access and visualize insights.• Integration: Can the data and insights be easily shared or integrated with our existing Student Information System (SIS) and transportation management software?(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than November 26, 2025(3) The contract period will be for one year.
