DESCRIPTION
A Canadian provincial agency is seeking information from vendors regarding dictation and transcription software solutions. The purpose of this request for information is to inform the potential development of a future competition for software that supports dictation for medical terminology and clinical workflows.
Key functional requirements include support for specialty-specific medical vocabularies (such as medical imaging, pathology, surgery, and oncology), high-quality voice recognition, noise reduction capabilities, and support for clinical documentation formats. The solution should allow addendums to existing documents, offer multilingual translation, hands-free operation, real-time performance, and cross-platform access (mobile, web, desktop).
