DESCRIPTION

A consultant is sought to provide comprehensive public engagement services. Core responsibilities include developing a public engagement plan, organizing and staffing public engagement events, administering community surveys, and compiling a public engagement report. The scope includes facilitating the promotion of events and surveys through social media and local municipal calendars, as well as creating and distributing event invitations in multiple languages, including Spanish, Chinese, Russian, Haitian Creole, Bengali, Korean, Yiddish, Italian, Arabic, Polish, French, and Urdu. Distribution may occur via social media, email, or physical posting.

The selected vendor will provide and staff a telephone hotline and email address to assist interested parties with event information, manage all invitation distribution and follow-up activities, and secure equipment such as computers or TV monitors for presentations. Further, the consultant will establish call-in numbers, set up Webex or live streaming capabilities, coordinate logistical aspects including event setup and breakdown, and track attendance and timing to ensure sessions run smoothly. The contract period will be one year.
