DESCRIPTION


The selected vendor will provide strategic communications, outreach, and community relations services to support delivery of a bus rapid transit (BRT) project. Services will include guidance for public meetings, community discussions, business outreach meetings, elected official briefings, construction coordination meetings, and other public-facing engagement activities.

The work will include developing communication strategies, outreach approaches, messaging frameworks, communication protocols, notification templates, digital engagement and accessibility plans, social media content, newsletters, email updates, digital notifications, outreach materials, and public education campaigns. The vendor will also help proactively address unknown or politically sensitive issues that may arise during project development or construction.

Additional responsibilities include facilitating meetings and engagement activities, coaching project staff, delivering communications and engagement training workshops, coordinating stakeholders and community relations, managing integrated communications, and preparing periodic outreach and engagement summaries. The contract period will be four years. Questions must be submitted by September 2, 2026.
