The agency seeks a vendor to provide professional community engagement services for a public forum focused on mental health and public safety. The selected vendor will develop a detailed project plan and event timeline, secure and manage an accessible venue, and oversee all event logistics including registration, equipment, signage, seating, and on-site coordination.
The scope includes providing experienced facilitators, designing an inclusive agenda that supports respectful dialogue, conducting outreach to community members and stakeholder groups, and creating promotional and informational materials. The vendor will also be responsible for accessibility and inclusion measures such as ADA compliance, language interpretation, and cultural sensitivity, as well as all event technology and audio-visual needs including presentations, hardware, projection, microphones, and recording.
In addition, the vendor will collect, document, and summarize participant feedback and discussion outcomes, maintain regular communication with the agency throughout planning and execution, and develop a community survey to gather input on the agency’s current methods of responding to calls for service that may involve a mental health crisis. Questions are due by June 9, 2026, and a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on June 3, 2026.
