DESCRIPTION


The City of Deerfield Beach, Florida, Environmental Services Department – Water Plant Division is seeking a qualified contractor to provide rehabilitation and restoration services for the 3-MGD Reverse Osmosis Plant Degasifier Tower and Odor Control Scrubber System. The selected contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, disposal services, and related incidentals necessary to complete the work.

The scope includes removal of all existing packing media, provision of containers or dumpsters, and offsite transport and disposal of materials in accordance with applicable regulations. The contractor will also be required to pressure wash all internal surfaces and perform chemical cleaning to remove calcium carbonate, iron fouling, and biofilm. Safety Data Sheets and proposed cleaning chemicals must be submitted for City approval before use, and all spent cleaning solutions must be neutralized and legally contained and disposed of.
