Phase II Drainage Improvement Service

The government authority in Miami Lakes, Florida is seeking a qualified vendor to provide Phase II Drainage Improvement Services. The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, transportation, supplies, equipment, and services necessary to carry out drainage and road improvements. Key activities involve the installation of drainage systems, milling and resurfacing, application of thermoplastic pavement markings, and comprehensive site restoration, which includes landscaping, concrete curb and gutter work, aprons, and street signage.

Additional requirements include the provision of temporary sanitary facilities, implementation of dust control measures during construction—including soil tracking devices where necessary—and ongoing debris and pollution control by maintaining a clean and orderly project site. The contractor must provide debris disposal containers, schedule regular collection and removal, install sediment and erosion control measures in staging areas before use, and ensure the safe offsite disposal of unsuitable materials such as vegetation and concrete. A designated area for concrete truck washout activities within the project limits must be provided, featuring erosion control devices to prevent contamination of stormwater or surface waters. All excavations must be adequately covered by the end of each workday.

The contract duration is for one year. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for July 9, 2026.
