DESCRIPTION

The Town of Spencer is seeking a firm to provide on-call consulting engineering and wetlands peer review services, construction monitoring, and CESSWI services for the Planning Board and Conservation Commission. The scope includes engineering review of special permits, site plans, and subdivision submissions; wetlands and hydrology review; construction inspections; and design and permitting services for town projects. The contract is for a period of three years, with the Town retaining the option for three additional one-year renewals.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Project Manager must be a Massachusetts Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or a Professional Wetlands Scientist (PWS)
  • Firm must have at least five years of experience providing consulting engineering review and inspection services for Massachusetts Municipal Boards
  • Proposed team must include licensed professionals in all applicable disciplines
  • Firm must demonstrate knowledge of Massachusetts State Building Code, ADA, and relevant state and federal environmental regulations
  • Firm must provide evidence of sufficient staff levels to achieve the proposed schedule
  • Firm must maintain General Liability, Environmental Impairment Liability, and Automobile Liability insurance with a minimum limit of $1,000,000
