DESCRIPTION

The City of Clermont, Florida, is seeking a consultant to provide parks master planning services. The selected consultant will review the City's Comprehensive Plan, related data, inventories, analysis documents, and anticipated future development projects and patterns to develop recommendations for new parks and recreation areas.

The master plan will serve as a 10-year roadmap for park maintenance needs and costs, landscape maintenance and improvements, equipment, hardscape and facility planning, capital improvement recommendations, and potential funding opportunities. The work will include reviewing existing facilities and conducting site visits to the City's six parks.

The contract period will be one year.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must provide master planning services for nine city parks and recreation areas
Must review the City's Comprehensive Plan and associated data
Must conduct site analysis and needs assessment including ADA compliance
Must facilitate at least two public meetings or workshops
Must provide conceptual layouts, renderings, and construction budget estimates
Must develop a recommended phasing plan and annual maintenance plans
Must provide proof of insurance including Professional Liability, Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Automobile Liability
Must comply with Florida Statutes, Chapter 218.391 for the selection process
Must acknowledge receipt of all addenda
Must submit electronic response via the City e-Procurement Portal
