A transportation agency in Virginia is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a comprehensive, turnkey intelligent transportation system for both paratransit and micro transit operations. The scope of this project includes the supply, installation, and integration of hardware and software designed to support the full range of system functionalities required for modern micro transit and paratransit services.

Key components must include communication linkages, mobile data terminal software, and dispatch and administration software. Hardware requirements call for industry-standard GPS odometers, shock-tested durability for daily use, backup power to retain driver and manifest data, adjustable audio volume, and backlighting suitable for night driving. The selected vendor will be responsible for installing, testing, and delivering the system, as well as providing comprehensive training to management and staff to ensure full operational familiarity.
