The State of California is seeking a vendor to provide an online candidate self-service portal solution for the Registrar of Voters/Candidate Services. This Software as a Service (SaaS) application will enable candidates to efficiently access, receive, and complete nomination and required paperwork for running for public office across Federal, State, Judicial, County, County Central Committee, Municipal, School District, and Special District elections, including both regularly scheduled and special elections.

The solution must ensure compatibility with commonly used assistive technology devices and adhere to Website Content Accessibility Guidelines to guarantee accessibility for all users. Security is a critical requirement, with mandatory secure authentication for all users and robust measures to preserve data integrity and protect against unauthorized access. The contract for this service will be awarded for a period of three years.
