The government authority in Clearwater, Florida, is seeking an experienced provider to deliver an online auction service for managing and selling miscellaneous surplus equipment, including computers, monitors, printers, tools, construction equipment, and furniture. The selected vendor must offer a robust web-based auction system that streamlines the sale of surplus inventory, reduces carrying costs, broadens market presence, and increases bidder participation and bid prices.
Key requirements include a user-friendly platform for auction management, posting and marketing auctions, receiving payments, blocking bidders, and managing invoicing. The system must support inventory control, allow detailed asset listings with unlimited photos, accommodate multiple auction phases, handle various lot configurations, and support sales tax application. Vendors should demonstrate substantial experience with online auction services for municipal or governmental agencies and be responsible for maintaining and supporting the auction solution, including all aspects of asset disposal.
The proposed contract will be for one year. All vendor inquiries must be submitted by June 26, 2026.
