Mortality Resources and Services (Closed)

Seeking a provider for mortality resources and services during emergency events, including management of mass fatality equipment and secure storage of mortuary trailers in Austin, Texas.

Must have at least two years of relevant experience.
Must have a minimum of three verifiable references for contracts of similar size and scope within the last ten years.
Must be able to deploy resources within 24 hours and be in route to the incident within 48 hours of notification.
Must maintain inventory, storage, and rotation of mortality care supplies and equipment.
Must provide a covered, well-lit, and secured fenced-in area to house four 32-foot mortuary trailers.
Must have a minimum of four Strike Teams, each composed of at least two licensed funeral directors and two non-licensed individuals.
Strike Team members must be trained in Incident Command System (ICS) classes 100, 200, 700, and 800.
Must conduct statewide Texas Department of Public Safety criminal and sex offender background checks on all personnel prior to beginning services.
Must maintain required insurance coverage, including Workers' Compensation, Commercial General Liability, Commercial Automobile Liability, Professional Liability, and Umbrella Liability.
Must submit Exhibit A (HHS Solicitation Affirmations) and Exhibit C (Pricing Sheet) with the response.
Must be able to store and maintain trailers in a major metropolitan city in Texas within a 125-mile radius of Waco, Texas.
