Monument Sign Message Board Service

The city is seeking a vendor to design, fabricate, and install a permanent monument sign with an integrated LED message center at city hall. The sign is intended to support public messaging and should align with the city’s rural character, architectural context, and existing wayfinding, gateway signage, and graphic standards.

The required solution includes a full-color RGB LED display with a pixel pitch of 6mm to 10mm suitable for roadway viewing, wide-angle visibility of at least 140 degrees horizontally, sufficient resolution for clear text and basic graphics, and brightness supported by auto-dimming with an ambient light sensor at a minimum daytime range of 5,000 to 7,000 nits. The display must be outdoor-rated with IP65 protection or better and designed for durability, visibility, and ease of maintenance.

The system must also include a cloud-based or networked content management platform with remote desktop and mobile access. It should allow staff to schedule messages, emergency alerts, and community notices through a user-friendly interface suitable for non-technical users. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for June 3, 2026, and questions must be submitted by June 5, 2026.
