The selected vendor will provide mobile advertisement services to support speed safety camera initiatives in work zones. The project aims to test the viability and effectiveness of geofence-based advertisements to inform road users about the presence of speed safety cameras within designated areas.
The scope includes evaluating the impact of such alerts on traffic patterns and documenting methodologies for successful deployment of the technology in active work zones. Vendors must recognize and manage the limitations of device location systems, as geofence advertising may inadvertently reach devices adjacent to, but not within, the intended area.
The contract requires an advertising campaign with a scheduled 14-day duration, providing at least 450,000 impressions with a minimum of 80 percent being mobile impressions. The vendor will supply banner ad placements in industry-standard file formats, to be displayed on third-party websites or within third-party apps. Questions from bidders are due no later than June 3, 2026.
