The selected provider will deliver Wide Area Network (WAN) connectivity between state offices and Century Network Point of Presence (POP) sites using metro ethernet services that offer bandwidth speeds between 100MB and 1GB, delivered via fiber.
Bandwidth must be guaranteed to be synchronous and supported 24/7/365, with a maximum one-way delay of 18 milliseconds and maximum jitter of 12 milliseconds. The vendor will also be responsible for ongoing monitoring and maintenance of connections and must proactively address any network issues that could impact connectivity.
