DESCRIPTION
The selected medical sponsor will provide medical sponsor services for a school-based health center. Responsibilities include designating a staff manager as the primary point of contact and liaison among the participating parties, and providing primary medical care to children within the school district through designated medical sponsor staff.
The medical sponsor will provide sick-child examinations, well-child examinations, and related treatment within the scope of practice of a licensed primary care medical provider through weekly clinic-based services. Medical records will remain the property of the medical sponsor and will be subject to the confidentiality policies of the medical sponsor and county concerning medical records and health information.
The contract period will be one year. Questions must be submitted no later than October 1, 2026.
