DESCRIPTION

The selected vendor will provide operations and management services for My People's Market events in Oregon. This includes the hosting of at least three market events: one in December 2026, a minimum of one in 2027, and a minimum of one in 2028. The vendor is responsible for all aspects of planning and executing these events, such as site selection, vendor recruitment, event programming, marketing, promotions, and ensuring smooth execution on event day.

Additionally, the vendor will steward the My People's Market community, which comprises more than 700 small businesses, and will convene the advisory board at least twice per year. The role also involves developing and implementing a sponsorship recruitment strategy, retaining existing sponsors, and recruiting new sponsors to secure funding for future events. The vendor must comply with all terms outlined in the grant agreement and facilitate effective market oversight throughout the contract period, which is one year.
