Locker Room Remodel and Design-Build Services

A government authority in Sheridan, Colorado is seeking a vendor to provide design-build services for a locker room remodeling project. The selected firm will be responsible for both designing and constructing improvements to the existing facility, while coordinating closely with end users and City facilities staff to support successful delivery under an aggressive project schedule.

The scope of work includes complete demolition of the existing men's and women's lavatory rooms, including fixtures, flooring, finishes, and lockers. The plumbing bank wall is to remain in place, and no structural changes may be made to bearing walls. The project also includes demolition of shared office space fixtures, flooring, and finishes, followed by reconfiguration of the layout to include two wet rooms with showers, lavatories, sinks, and sitting areas, as well as two separate changing rooms. A new coed shared locker room is to be constructed outside of the changing and wet rooms.

All construction must be compliant with ADA requirements and include necessary mechanical, electrical, and other building compliance upgrades. As part of the proposal, vendors must submit a basic modeled architectural schematic or rendering, along with detailed exhibits for fixtures and finishes. Questions are due by August 3, 2026.
