DESCRIPTION

The County of Henrico is soliciting bids for an annual contract to provide comprehensive lawn maintenance and landscape services. Services include mowing, edging, leaf removal, aeration, fertilizing, weed control, pruning, and mulching at various Mental Health and Developmental Services (MH/DS) facilities, Fire stations, and Central Automotive Maintenance (CAM) locations. The initial contract term is one year, from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027, with the option for four additional one-year renewals.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must possess a valid Virginia Pesticide Business License
  • Must possess a valid Fertilizer Applicator License
  • Must possess a valid Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certificate valid in Categories 3A, 3B, and 6
  • Must provide a list of proposed vehicles and equipment suitable for the intended purpose
  • Must have adequately maintained equipment including walk behind mower, riding mower, weed eater, brush cutter, and dump truck/trailer
  • Must be able to speak and understand English
  • Must provide a list of chemicals and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for use with the contract
  • Must maintain insurance as specified in Attachment G
