DESCRIPTION

This RFP seeks a vendor to provide a modern, network-based IP intercom, clock, and mass communication system designed to enhance school safety, emergency notification, synchronized timekeeping, and daily communications within K–12 educational environments.

The selected provider will be responsible for furnishing, configuring, programming, testing, and commissioning the system, which must include an administrative console, emergency communications, and centralized management capabilities. Services required include system design and engineering, equipment procurement, software licensing, programming, configuration, functional testing, user training, documentation with as-built records, and ongoing warranty support.

The proposed solution must be fully IP-based, network-addressable, commercially available, actively supported, and capable of centralized management from an administrative workstation. The software requirements include a centralized communication server, mapping and graphical interface software, device monitoring, system diagnostics, event logging, and user administration. Integration with standard Ethernet and TCP/IP networking is required, with future-proofing for integration with other school safety systems and scalability for expansion to additional devices and buildings.
