A high school in Virginia is seeking a vendor to upgrade and expand its internal communication system. The goal of this project is to enhance crisis communication and emergency management capabilities, while simultaneously improving the efficiency of daily school operations.
The project scope includes the supply and installation of over 230 devices, such as two-way IP endpoint devices, weather-resistant IP speakers, one-way speakers, and other necessary peripherals. The upgrade will also require CAT6 cabling and installation. The communication system must include accessible management software, either via direct IP or cloud, for use by building administrators. Additionally, the system should feature an in-house server control unit with both a backup and fail-safe server to ensure reliability. The vendor is expected to provide a perpetual license for all necessary management software or system access. The contract for this project will be for a one-year period.
