DESCRIPTION

The vendor will provide an intelligent speed assistance system supporting motor vehicle licensing, vehicle registration and titling, photo identification for non-drivers, and driver enforcement activities. Enforcement functions include license suspensions and revocations and ignition interlock administration.

The system or services will also support driver and motorcycle safety programs, protection of personal licensing data and driver and vehicle records, mandatory insurance compliance, regulation of driving schools and motor vehicle dealers and sales, and vehicle emissions inspection activities. The program is intended to help reduce and prevent motor vehicle-related crashes, injuries, and fatalities through education, enforcement, and engineering countermeasures.
