(1) Vendor needs to provide integrated library system and hosted discovery platform.– Encompass all elements of implementing an Integrated Library System (ILS) or a discovery platform, including system installation, setup/configuration, data migration, and training.– The ILS will facilitate automated daily operations for both staff and patrons, while the public catalog will be available for use by library visitors. – Platform must have bi–directional communication with an ILS and perform tasks which include, but not limited to pulling and displaying item records, availability, placing holds and providing patron account information. – Reporting: There must be an ability to produce custom/ad hoc and canned reports. – Account Import: The system shall be capable of automated mass importing of accounts, e.g. 90k student accounts regularly for additions and/or account updates. – Billing/Invoicing: It must have automated billing/invoicing capabilities via email and paper mail (accounts with no email). – Previous Users: System provides a list or ability to quickly find previous users assisted by staff in a session. – Hosting: The system must be a hosted/cloud solution; on–premises server will not be required. – Azure Active Directory federation services for single sign–on using SAML 2.0. – Multi–factor authentication standard via integration with the County’s Identity Provider.
