DESCRIPTION


A government authority in Austin, Texas seeks an experienced vendor to provide comprehensive insurance and risk management brokerage services. The selected firm will be responsible for delivering brokerage services for public officials’ liability, employment practices liability, and privacy and security insurance, all under the agency’s direction and approval.

The services include annual coverage assessments, written recommendations on coverage gaps, and guidance on policy selection, limits, and deductibles. The vendor should demonstrate deep expertise in public sector insurance, especially pertaining to issuers of municipal securities and related regulatory requirements from FINRA and MSRB. Duties will involve research and comparison of insurance policies, identification of suitable carriers, and preparation of specifications and underwriting submissions.
