DESCRIPTION

Cape Fear Community College is seeking proposals from qualified Design Build HVAC teams to design and construct major HVAC renovations for the 7-floor, 114,000sf McLeod Building (Building S) on the Downtown Campus. The scope includes the replacement of VAVs, hot water coils, and control dampers on the second floor, as well as replacing DDC controls on existing AHUs on the ground floor. Additional work includes installing hot water piping, grilles, outside air dampers, actuators, fire dampers, and extended outdoor boiler flues, along with upgrading air handlers from starters to VFDs and replacing ceiling grid and tile.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Firm must be properly licensed to practice Architecture, Engineering, or Landscape Architecture in the State of North Carolina
Must submit three hard copies of the RFQ response and SF-254 or SF-330
Must submit a digital copy of the RFP response
Must provide a plan to increase Historically Underutilized Business representation
