Hemodynamic Monitoring System

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15, is conducting a Request for Information and Sources Sought notice to identify qualified sources capable of providing hemodynamic monitoring systems. This notice is for market research and acquisition planning purposes only and is not a solicitation, offer, or request for proposals. The applicable NAICS code is 339113, with a size standard of 800 employees.

The required system must include five device ports, two oximetry ports, and support arterial pressure monitoring, pulmonary artery catheters, and oximetry sensors in a single device. It must include a touchscreen display of at least 15 inches and software capable of identifying early signs of abrupt changes in a patient’s physiological status. The system must communicate with Philips monitors through the Philips EC5 dongle and EC10 module and support connectivity with CPRC and Cerner when the new electronic health record management system becomes operational.

The contractor would be responsible for equipment assembly, onsite training, initial device testing, trade-in credit for existing equipment, and pickup and disposal of the old equipment. Additional requirements include providing maintenance manuals and upkeep documentation to HTM/Biomed, a manufacturer’s warranty, and access to customer service for troubleshooting support.
