DESCRIPTION
The agency seeks a vendor to provide Google Maps Platform Pro Plan services, including an initial allocation of digital calls and access to additional usage blocks. The solution must allow the agency to procure extra capacity on an as-needed basis, ensuring cost-effective, scalable, and reliable access to Google Maps Platform services such as Maps, Routes, and Places APIs.
These services are critical to supporting enterprise, internal, and public-facing agency applications, including routine transportation operations and emergency response activities like severe weather and evacuation events. The offering should include a right-sized baseline allocation based on historical usage, enterprise-grade reliability, secure and agency-controlled API access, and flexible scaling that avoids financial risk.
Additional requirements include access to mapping, visualization, routing, navigation, traffic-aware, geocoding, address validation, and environmental/geospatial data services. Real-time usage monitoring, usage alerts, predictive trend forecasting, and budget safeguards must also be provided. The contract period will be for one year.
