DESCRIPTION


A government authority in Baltimore, Maryland is seeking a provider of global custody services for its separately managed investments and assets. Required services include securities settlement, safekeeping, delivery, investment accounting, income collection, securities valuation, investment performance reporting, compliance reporting, short-term cash investments, and related custody and investment administration services.

The selected contractor will provide global master custody, trade-date multicurrency accounting, full accrual accounting, domestic and international depository and nominee services, transaction clearing, cash management, corporate action and class action support, proxy voting, and automated cash sweeps to short-term investment or external money market funds. The contractor will also provide monthly reconciled accounting statements, performance reporting using GIPS-compliant methodologies, investment compliance monitoring, and reporting on trades outside established policies and parameters.

The contractor must provide a secure online information delivery platform for report and data downloads, authorized inquiry-only access, annual financial statements audited by an independent certified public accounting firm in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, and direct access to appropriate technical personnel.
