DESCRIPTION

The organization seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive Geographic Information System (GIS) support services and support for a GIS-centric software platform. Responsibilities include ongoing and as-needed GIS technical support, platform configuration, and website and web application development to enhance county operations, infrastructure asset management, and integration with enterprise technology systems.

The selected vendor will assist with strategic and business planning for GIS initiatives; develop and maintain GIS applications and integrations (particularly with Esri ArcGIS geodatabases as the system of record); support scripting and database development using Python, Arcade, SQL, and related technologies; conduct data migration, maintenance, validation, and QA/QC; and design ETL workflows to synchronize GIS and other county systems. Additional requirements include utility network data model design and migration, LiDAR analysis, ArcGIS Online/Server/Pro support, data governance improvements, and development of integrations with third-party platforms using Unity and Esri APIs.

Consulting, troubleshooting, and advisory services are also required, as well as support for migrating from geometric networks to Esri utility networks, and expertise in application customization and ongoing system reliability improvements.
