The state of Ohio is seeking a vendor to provide geological subsurface mapping software for use in its STATEMAP program. This software is essential for supporting ongoing grants and initiatives managed by the geological survey division, and must be capable of integrating with GIS and database systems.
The required software should allow for the import and export of ESRI Shapefiles and ESRI File Geodatabases, as well as support for tabular data formats such as CSV, Excel, and MS-Access tables. There must be the capability to connect with a proprietary or SQL-based database, with a preference for direct connectivity to a MS-SQL Server database. Additional features include consuming GIS REST services for basemap data, optional interface compatibility with ESRI’s ArcGIS Pro, and the ability to display and symbolize wells on maps based on database attributes.
The contract for this software solution will be for a one-year period.
